Hi Everyone,
We are ready for you at Alma. But before we get too crazy, please
take a moment to print the following information and review everything
carefully. Also, you will find the program for the weekend attached
to this email along with performer's time slots.
Please be prepared, be safe and we are waiting for you down by La Salina beach.
Please forward this message to your friends that are attending this
year's Alma Paradiso.
Cheers

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.) Phat Elvis Café: Saturday-Sunday from 9-11am 150 servings of
breakfast. Menu: French toast, bacon, sausage and coffee.
2.) Security: We have three hired Mexican policemen patrolling the
area for us. So do not freak out when you see uniformed cops, they
are with us. If any uniformed security or police ask you for money,
do not pay them and report them to us immediately. Camp close to one
another and stay within the indicated perimeter.
3.) Valuables: Do not bring any valuables to the beach. At times,
vendors run through the camp selling jewelry and stuff. Make sure your
tent is secure when you leave your camp. Leave all valuables in your
cars and make sure to lock up your cars.
4.) NO NUDITY: This beach is technically public. The laws are
similar to the ones in US. You could get arrested if beach patrol
shows up and you don't want to go to Mexican jail. Please respect
their laws.
5.) Code of conduct: We expect everyone to respect each other's
boundaries. We are a very close family of friends that know each other
well. If this is your first time in our community, welcome. But be
aware that certain antics are expected due to the nature of our
closeness. However, it should not be misunderstood. Sexual
harassment, especially under the influence of any stimulus, is not
tolerated and will result in ejection from the event and every event
there after that is organized by Blue Insomnia, Sand Castle,
Hipgenesis, Ninja Skillz, RLD and Pocket Underground. We have an
absolutely ZERO tolerance for lapses in this area.
6.) Safety: This event is intended to break free of our own
boundaries and express ourselves. You may fire dance in any way you
like. However, we ask that you be away from all camping area and have
fire safety at all times. Do not leave any fires unattended. If you
are going to play with fireworks, please do so far away form the main
camping area.
7.) Insurance; Liability insurance is MANDATORY in Mexico. Be sure
to cover yourselves fully and read the terms very carefully. The best
way is to purchase online or, if you forget, you can get insurance
close to the border.
8.) Border crossing: Tijuana border is open 24 hours a day. No
passport is required when walking or driving through. Be sure to have
your ID when crossing back to US.

CAMPING
This event is a weekend camping on the beach. Bring your tents,
swim-wear, and warm clothes for the evenings. Trucks that have 4WD can
park on the beach next to your tent area. You can come early and set
up a perimeter for your crew and bring whatever structures that you
wish to set up. There is a cantina that belongs to the facility with
a full bar and restaurant. You can purchase Mexican dishes there.
Please bring enough food for a couple of days of camping, but don't
over do it as there are facilities and shops within five miles from
the camping area.
PARKING
Parking is free and if you have 4WD you can park on the beach next to your tent.
BATHROOMS
There are four remodeled bathrooms in the hotel's Cantina. There will
also be porta potties located on the beach for easy access.
ACTIVITIES
We will be setting up volleyball courts on the beach. During the days
we will be serving up drinks from our own beach bar. The area is
great for surfing, swimming, jet skiing, wind surfing, etc. Whatever
beach games that you have in mind, you may bring and enjoy.
